Man…eigentlich wollte ich meine Bewerbung anfang nächster Woche abschicken…aber des kann ich jetzt auch vergessen -.-’ Ich hab noch keinen Termin bei meinem Arzt bekommen und kann die Illness History nich ausfüllen ): Meine Referenzen hab ich auch noch nicht alle zurück bekommen…also Childcare Refernce fehlt mir noch eine und Personal References hab ich 2 ”in Auftrag” denkmal die bekomm ich morgen oder so ^^ Dann fehlen mir noch paar Fotos, die wollte ich eig mit meinem Onkel dieses We machen aber der hat mir jetzt kurzfristig abgesagt ): Also verschiebt sich des ganze wahrscheinlich nochmal um eine Woche -.-’ Regt mich grade echt tierisch auf aber kann ich jetzt auch nichts dran ändern.
Naja jetzt die guten Neuigkeiten ^^
Am 07.08.2010 ist ein Preparation Workshop in Stuttgart und da han ich mich gestern erfolgreich für angemeldet 
Sobald ich auf dem Workshop war werd ich euch alles darüber erzählen

Dear host family,
I am very excited yet about getting to know you and I am really grateful that you are taking the time to read my letter and getting to know me better.
Firstly I want to introduce myself to you a bit, to make your decision easier.
My name is Vanessa and I was born on the 4th of January 1991 in Heilbronn Neckargartach, Germany. I am living together with my mother Betina, my older brother Kevin (21 years), our cat Tigerle and our rabbit King Kong. My parents are divorced since I was 4 years old. My Dad lives in Dresden, Germany.We live in an apartment in a little village called Verrenberg. Verrenberg is near by Öhringen, a little city with 20.000 residents. It is located in the country Baden-Württemberg, in the south of Germany. The nearest big city is the provincial capital Stuttgart.
My family is pretty important to me, I love them all and know I can count on them. I am really happy about their support for my wish to become an Au Pair. I have a really good relationship to my mother. She is not only my mother but also a really good friend. If I have any problems I know I can trust her and I know I can tell her everything. I talk really much with my mother and at summer’s eve we often go for a walk.
There are many reasons for me why I want to be an Au Pair: I want to gather valueable memories with a new family and get to know new friends. Primarily it is of course the time I am going to spend with the children and the experience of an eventful year with you and your kids. Also taking care of the children, learning something about the culture, studying at a college and not at last to improve my English knowledge. It is a big dream of mine for several years now.
The United States of America, here in Germany better known as ” Country of boundless possibilities ” , are highly appealing to me. I am very interested in the country and the culture and I even want to experience the daily life there. The country, the people, everything seems to be similar and on the other hand totally different from the things here.
I am persuaded of being able to be a good Au Pair, because I’ve always been loving children and I had the chance to gain experiences with children in lots of different scopes.
At this point I would like to tell you something about my experience with children:
In February 2006 I did a practical training at a kindergarten for 2 weeks. There were 50 children at the age of 3 to 6 and I helped the governess to supervise the group. We played games, ate together, sang songs, did handicrafts, read out for the kids and played in the big garden every day. I enjoyed these weeks and it was a helpful experience for me to care for so many children at the same time.
From December 2009 until May 2010 I teached children in kickboxing, mostly 4 times per week. I had more groups in different cities and most of the children were in the age of 5 to 15. I really loved this way of working with so many different children, because they all had different personalities and different needs and I loved to see how they grow up and getting better and better. Also I like it when I can motivate the kids. Sadly I have to take a break from kickboxing because I had to concentrate on my job and for learning for my driver’s license. I really miss all the children and hope I can teach them some day again.
Furthermore, I did a little bit babysitting and visited a babysitter course were I got a certificate for. I baby-sat at my neighbour’s children and children from friends from my mother. In former times I did horseback riding by a family and sometimes I baby-sat for their 2 children. 2 boys in the age of 3 and 5.
From 13th September 2010 until 27th July 2011 I will work in a kindergarten for handicapped children. I am really excited because I think I will gain a lot of experience and I really love the work with children. I am impressed that the love you gave to the children come back twentyfold.
I also have a new babysitter job for a 2 years old girl. She is really cute and loveable. I am looking forward about the weekends I will spend together with her.
Children make me happy everytime I am with them. I couldn’t imagine a life without children. I love to see them smiling, their shining eyes on christmas, their enthusiasm if they learned something new and their imaginative idea of the wolrd. I just love to see how they grow up.
For giving you a first impression of me I want to start telling you something about me and my personality:
I would describe me as a reliable, friendly, positiv and open-minded woman who is interested in getting to know new people and countries. I try to make the best of every situation. I like to talk with people but I am also a good listener. In my free time I love doing different kind of sports like playing soccer, swimming and inline skating. Furthermore I was a part of a kickboxing team for 5 years and I really adore this sport. I really like american football and I am a big fan from the New Orleans Saints, sadly in Germany football is not so popular, so I am not really able to watch some games. I love meeting my friends, watching movies at the cinema or at home, reading a good book, listen to music or just chilling outside and enjoy the sunshine. I don’t really like discos and partys, I rather sit in the evening in the garden or at a lake, making campfire with friends. My friends are very important to me. I try to help them if they have problems and I am always there for them. I am really interested in music and I love to sing, even though I can not sing. I would love to learn playing piano. I really love animals and beside our cat and rabbit I would love to have a dog.
I expected to pass my driver’s license in October/ November 2010. If I have passed my driver’s license I will drive almost daily. During my lessons in the driving school I have also attended a first aid course.
After I have finished secondary high school in July 2009 I started a internship as a assistant for office communication with a following apprenticeship. But then I realized that the work in a office, sitting 8 hours in front of the computer not the thing is I really want to do. So I terminated my internship and apply me for a social internship in the Paul-Meyle-Kindergarten. It is a kindergarten for handicapped children as I told you above.
In my spare time I did a lot of part time jobs. For 1 year I worked as a waitress and for circa 9 months I worked in a restaurant as a kitchen assistant. I also helped out in a ice cream parlor and a pizzeria.
After my Au Pair Year I either want to learn a job like interpreter, foreign language correspondence clerk or something with children.
In conclusion, I would like to say thanks in advance that you will give me this unique chance. I am looking forward to being an Au Pair and also a family member in your family and to spend a great and unforgettable year. I hope we can develop a good realtionship and work and live together as a family.

So, ich dachte ich schreib euch mal wieder was ^^ wobei es eigentlich nicht wirklich was zu erzählen gibt… ):
Naja also inzwischen dachte ich, hätte ich meinen Brief fertig, aber habe mir mal paar Meinungen von anderen angehenden Au Pairs geholt und siehe da ich hab noch einiges dran zu verbessern 
das werd ich denke ich heute Abend erledigen.
Ich mach gerade einen Ferienjob bei der Firma Mahle um das Geld für mein Au Pair Jahr zu erarbeiten und das ist echt ganz schön anstrengend. Gerade Arbeite ich Spätschicht, da hat man nicht wirklich viel vom Tag, deshalb geht es auch sehr schleppend voran. -.-’
Naja was ich jetzt noch alles zu erledigen habe, bis ich meine Bewerbung dann endlich abschicken kann ist zum einen mal meinen Brief nochmal verbessern, meine Bilder vervollständigen, noch eine Childcare Reference abholen und eine Personal Reference abholen (wobei ich mir noch nicht sicher bin, ob ich die dann auch an Culture Care schicken werde, da ich schon 3 andere Personal Reference hab und die jetzt von meiner alten Klassenlehrerin ist…jeder der sie kennt weiss was für ein Drache sie ist bzw. sein kann aber ich denke sie wird es mir gut ausfüllen ), dann muss ich noch bei meiner Ärztin vorbei und mich über meine Krankheiten als Kind informieren..keine Ahnung ob ich jemals Mumps oder Röteln hatte haha xDD, mein Führungs- und Gesundheitszeugniss kann ich noch nicht hinzufügen da es noch zu früh ist, und dann brauch ich noch eine neue Bestätigung, das ich mal einen Babysitterkurs belegt habe (habe zwar eine, aber die ist schon etwas alt und sieht nicht mehr sehr gut aus :’D ) und zu guter letzt nehme ich dann noch ein Video für meine Gastfamilie auf ^^
Ja und wenn ich dann das alles habe, muss ich die Bewerbung abschicken Ich HOFFE das schaff ich alles bis nächste Woche!! Will die Bewerbung endlich weg haben ^^
Ja, mit meinem Führerschein bin ich immer noch nicht wirklich weiter -.-’ Ich hab zwar schon gelernt aber wirklich viel voran gekommen bin ich nicht… ehrlich ich will das jetzt fertig haben -.-’ kann ich die Theorieprüfung nicht einfach überspringen ???
Naja und immer wieder wird mir klar, das es halt doch noch ein ewig langes ganzes Jahr ist bis ich endlich in die USA kann ): mensch das nervt echt -.-’ aber bei dem ganzen was ich noch zu erledigen habe, ist es glaub wirklich gut das es noch so lange hin ist ^^
So und jetzt muss ich auch gleich wieder Arbeiten gehen >.<
Sobald ich meine Bewerbung abgeschickt habe, werd ich euch darüber berichten Ich hoffe doch, dass das nächste Woche schon der Fall sein wird

Willkommen in meinem neuen Tagebuch!
Etwas über mich
Mein Name ist Vanessa, aber alle meine freunde nennen mich Vanii. Ich bin 19 Jahre alt und wohn in einem kleinen Dorf namens Verrenberg. Kennt wahrscheinlich kein einziger von euch :’D die nächst größte Landeshauptstadt bei uns ist Stuttgart. Ab September werd ich ein einjähriges soziales Praktikum in einem Kindergarten für Behinderte machen. Mit dem Praktikum bin ich am 27. Juli 2011 fertig und danach möchte ich dann in die USA gehen.
Schon laaaange lange ist es mein Traum als Au Pair nach Amerika zu gehen und das wird ja nun auch BALD in Erfüllung gehen!! Ich habe geplant im August 2011 zu fliegen. JA, noch 1 ganzes Jahr ): ich würde am liebsten schon morgen fliegen… ): nun ja aber so ist es nun mal und damit muss ich jetzt leben
Ich habe mich bei der Agentur ” Culture Care ” beworben ( falls jemand Erfahrungen mit dieser Agentur hat, ob gut oder schlecht, freu ich mich über Kommentare ob ihr zufrieden seid oder nicht) Ja also meine Bewerbung die hab ich noch nich ganz fertig ^^ ich war schon zu einem Vorbereitungstreffen in Nürnberg, des war am 17.07.2010 und ich fands eigentlich echt richtig gut. Hab einen guten eindruck von dem ganzen bekommen und meine Vorfreude ist noch mehr gestiegen
Meine Bewerbung möcht ich auch spätestens gegen Ende der nächsten Woche dann abgeschickt haben, das ich so bald wie möglich verschiedene matches bekomme und meine host family vielleicht schon gegen Anfang 2011 bekomm. Fänd ich klasse, so hab ich genug Zeit die für mich wirklich perfekte Familie zu finden un voher schon genug mit ihr in kontakt zu stehen
Auch wenn es noch so eine ewig lange Zeit ist. bis ich dann endlich in die USA fliege…werd ich euch trotzdem immer auf dem laufenden halten wies mit meinen matches und den ganzen vorbereitungen etc. läuft
Ach und drückt mir doch BITTE BITTE die Daumen ich bin nun schon seid längerer Zeit an meinem Führerschein dran, hatte auch mal ne längere Pause wegen Arbeitsstress gemacht und naja jetzt möcht ich den spätestens bis Oktober fertig haben und bereite mich grade auf die Theorieprüfung vor :s Ich hoffe doch das ich das gut schaffe und noch viiiel Erfahrungen im fahren sammeln kann bevor ich als Au Pair nach Amerika geh
So und jetzt werd ich mal ins Bett gehen immerhin haben wir schon 04.00 Uhr :’D
