…just got back from running through the rain for like 40 minutes . It was wet but really cool at the same time .And I now know how to get to the subway station where the one subway line takes off,which I have to take to get to downtown Manhattan 
This morning we went up to Jones Beach but it was kinda rainy and foggy up there but very pretty although the beach was a little bit dirty but we had a good time and I think thats the most important thing!!
Nothing special on the schedule for this week but on saturday I will go shopping in downtown Manhattan:) cant wait for that lol.
And I will go to a Roots concert on September 8th for just 10 bucks !! That is soo cool.

Hey everybody.
I drove for the first time in the US today and it was really nice and after a few miles I really enjoyed it .I also signed up for a gym so I hopefully wont gain to many weight hmm what else??nothing really special happened the last days . its just very relaxed and I am trying to get into the daily routine of the family.This weekend I will get off and I think I will take this time to buy some stuff for California in Manhattan and to do a sightseeing trip on sunday.
Thats it so far and I will continue to watch the Mets game now.

Hi everybody.
Dont blame me for my mistakes .Because I am here to brush up my english;)NYC is terrific so far and I am soooo happy that this stupid orientation course is behind me .Okay, it wasnt stupid all the time , but reaaaly boring from time to time!But I had my highlight yesterday so far . Here is what I did:I went running with my roommate at sunset in central park with all the skyline of manhattan in the background. I still cant believe I am actually here in New York and that I am gonna live here for a year.Today I was picked up by my hostfamily and everything was pretty cool . I think we will have a lot of fun together and tomorrow I will drive up to Long Island to an Art exhibition by my hostdad . I am pretty excited but I gotta get up at six in morning because the one kid is going to summer school and I have to see how everything is done.
I am going to bed now …way to tired

Soo . Die Koffer sind gepackt und alles ist zusammengerafft und verstaut und morgen geht es dann los .Demnach ist das hier der letzte Eintrag auf Deutsch und zusätzlich aus Deutschland . Den Nächsten werde ich dann irgendwann die Tage aus NYC schreiben.

Yeaaah !! Endlich sind sie da . Ich fliege also am 20. Juli um 17 Uhr hier weg . Eine durchaus sehr gemütliche Zeit Und geich zwei Premieren stehen an : Das erste Mal ,dass ich mit einer 747 fliege und das erste Mal , dass ich mit Lufthansa fliege . Doch , für mich als Flugzeugnarr, ist das wichtig

Sooo jetzt sind die ganzen offiziellen Feiern um . Wir hatten eine wirklich gelungene Zeugnisvergabe und auch die Feier danach war sehr lustig und lange . Der Abiball war auch äußerst gelungen und es war cool , alle noch einmal zu sehen .Jetzt sind wir schon fleißig am planen und organisieren für unsere Abschiedsparty am Donnerstag , die hoffentlich richtig bombig wird !!Aber da mache ich mir eigentlich keine großen Sorgen. Wow 12 Tage !!! langsam wird es echt alles sehr ,sehr greifbar und ich kann es wirklich kaum mehr abwarten, wobei ich dem ganzen mit Einem weinenden und Einem lachenden Auge entgegegen schaue.Ich würde nur echt langsam mal mein Visum und meine Flugdaten bekommen , aber naja ich habe ja noch etwas Luft zum Warten.
